Effective July 1, 2011, the City of Slidell will impose a non-refundable processing fee for all Police Officer and Correction Officer applications.
Application/Testing Payment Instructions
All applicants must submit the required, nonrefundable application/testing fee before the application can be processed and you are scheduled for Police Officer or Corrections Officer testing. The Application/Testing Fee is a non-refundable processing fee and is retained by the City of Slidell whether or not the test is taken.
Each twenty dollar ($20) fee must be submitted as a check or money order made payable in U.S. dollars to the City of Slidell at the time the application is submitted. The full name of the applicant should be printed on the front of the check or money order. The fee can be paid in the Finance department, Room 214. You should show us your receipt when turning in your application. If submitting your application by mail, the check or money order should be included, a receipt will be sent to your mailing address. You will then be scheduled for the next available testing date.
