Board of Zoning and Adjustment
This Board is responsible for granting variances from the City of Slidell Zoning Ordinance.
Building Code Board of Appeals
At the request of the Building Official, the Building Code Board of Appeals may participate in matters involving licensing, code related appeals, and code changes.
Civil Service Board
The Slidell Civil Service Board represents the citizens of Slidell in civil service matters. The Board promotes efficiency in dispatch of public business; ensures employees are selected and promoted on the basis of merit; and assures fair and impartial treatment for all classified civil service employees.
Commission on the Arts
This Commission is a community advisory board to the Department of Cultural & Public Affairs of the City of Slidell appointed by the mayor with the primary function to develop, nurture and sustain the cultural life of the community.
East St. Tammany Events Center Commission
The new Northshore Harbor Center is the smart alternative for conferences, tradeshows, performances, social events and athletic tournaments. The Center can accommodate over 2,500 people, with a recital hall, meeting rooms, a glass walled lounge, and a huge exhibit space.
Planning and Zoning Commission
This Commission is responsible for guiding the overall development of the City including annexations, rezonings, subdivision development and resubdivisions.
St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District No. 1
This Committee shall recommend ordinances or amendments to ordinances
it may deem necessary for safeguarding life and property against fire.
