Media Releases

The Public Information Office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm. The PIO will release any information in a timely manner and as accurate as possible in accordance with Louisiana State Law, however, information will not be released if it would jeopardize a criminal investigation or infringe upon an individual's constitutional rights. During weekends and after hours, the PIO is always on call for emergencies and significant breaking news events.

Public Speaking and/or Public Relations Requests

The PIO and the Chief of Police are frequently asked to speak and/or appear at local events throughout the community. We will try our best to fullful all requests, but please give a reasonable notice prior to your event. Contact the PIO with your reqeuests.
