Dear Citizens,

I am extending an invitation to you, your family and friends, to come out to Heritage Park on Saturday, April 20, for the city’s eleventh annual "Some Enchanted Evening" with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Admission is free.

The concert begins at 6 p.m. but you will want to arrive early to enjoy all of the pre-concert festivities. The evening begins at 5 p.m. with an Enchanted Art Walk where local artists will demonstrate their talents and have their works on display.

I would also like to congratulate Kathleen DesHotel. Kathleen was choosen by the Slidell Comission on the Arts as the 2012 BRAVO! Arts Award honoree. She will be recognized for her contributions to the arts community during the LPO concert.

"Some Enchanted Evening" is one of the city's most popular events and I encourage everyone to join us for this event.
