The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office collects and has collected city taxes since 1998. Prior to that year, city taxes were collected by the City of Slidell Finance Department. The amount of taxes paid is determined by a tax millage applied to your property’s assessed value.

The 2003 millage rate for the City is 34.15 and the Parish is 168.40.
