The southbound lane of Third Street (Sgt. Alfred Drive) – between Guzman Street and Brakefield Street – will be closed on Thursday, June 14 and Friday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for sewer repairs. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, construction is projected to be completed by Friday, June 15.
“I know this will be an inconvenience to our citizens,” said Slidell Mayor Freddy Drennan. “I would appreciate everyone’s cooperation in exercising caution while travelling on Third Street and recommend using an alternate route to avoid the construction area.”
