The Office of the City Attorney serves as the chief legal advisor to the Mayor, City Council and all departments, offices and agencies of the City of Slidell.

The City Attorney represents the City in all legal proceedings except for criminal matters. Responsibility for management of all legal actions against the City and determination of the legal liability of the City in respect to any claim rests with the City Attorney.
