Arts Evening is the largest cultural event in Slidell, LA, celebrating visual arts, performing arts, dance, music, antique shopping, fine and casual dining and more. The annual event, held on the first Saturday of November, draws an estimated crowd of over 5,000 each year. Admission to all events is free.

This spectacular event features the works of more than 100 artists displaying their work at over 40 locations throughout Olde Towne. Along the way, visitors will enjoy an eclectic array of entertainment, including a variety of live music and dance exhibitions. Olde Towne restaurants encourage visitors to stop by before or during Arts Evening to enjoy dinner, or choose from “Arts Evening on the Run” dinner selections that you can enjoy while you peruse the art exhibits. Complimentary shuttle transportation is provided along designated routes throughout Olde Towne, making it even easier for everyone to enjoy all that Arts Evening has to offer

For a truly magical ending to the evening, the party continues with the Arts Evening finale in the Slidell Municipal Auditorium, with live entertainment from 8 to 10 p.m. It’s a fitting ending to this festive celebration of the arts.
